Alltop is a site that likes to think of themselves as an online magazine rack..that enables users to view top headlines from online content and get an understanding of what's happening on that topic. Their positioning is aggregation without aggravation.
I continue to test the site as a user to see if my needs are met more, accuratelyand expeditiously than Google or Bing. So far I like the site and see value, but it remains and addition to Google not a replacement.
Guy Kawasaki also tweets random content about every 15 minutes with a link to Alltop. As a follower of Guy on Twitter, some of the information is iinteresting...however, I am thinking about unfollowing Guy because so much of the information is not relevant to me. Guy may consider reviewing hunch.com and finding out more about my personal preferences.

I am a very visually stimulated person, so the icons used on websites such as zappido appeal to me so much more than this website. I guess since it is articles and not websites it is necessary to have more of a list format, but I am far to lazy to look through them. If you have a variety of things you follow and/or are searching for interesting new topics, this would be a good website to visit, but I think if people are already following something, they dont need this site.

This site design is just too much for me. I think that if you could sync it to your likes it would be better but I find this site is for variety and not simplicity searching.

I would use this site if I was super bored and wanted to just browse around different articles to try and learn something new. It differs from google and yahoo because it already has sites picked for you, where google and yahoo is mostly you search the stuff you want to look at.

I agree with the others who posted that this site is too much. I think if I were looking for something specific I guess I would look there because sometimes it is hard to pick from other search engines and this site seems to find what you need.

This site resembles an RSS feed and might be something I would use, assuming I could tailor it more to my likes and desired topics. I will be bookmarking this site for future use, since it presents what are likely to be very useful articles on a smorgasbord of topics. I must say I really like how Alltop.com delivers its search results when you search for a topic. I think if users would just take a deep breath upon visiting this website, they would find it very easy to use and navigate.
